Gleek - a person who's addicted to Glee! Yes! I'm now a Gleek! For those who don't know what is Glee and what's with Glee? Why I love Glee? Well, Glee is a musical comedy-drama TV series that airs on Fox in the United States, and some local cable channels here in the Philippines.
On the last season ending episode, Glee club was not able to get the First place in the contest. Vocal Adrenalin win the contest, with their piece Bohemian Rhapsody, while Glee Club piece is Faithfully. Glee Season 2 started to air last Monday. The episode was titled "Audition". The club were aiming to recruitment new members, and one of them is the Philippines pride Charice Pempengco!
Her character was Sunshine Corazon. Her character named Sunshine because in the Philippines, everyday is a sunny day! Except on monsoon? (I get this thoughts on a scene where Rachel Berry invites Sunshine Corazon to join Glee club). And Corazon because of the former Philippine President Corazon Aquino who always wearing as yellow as sunshine dresses (I read this on Lea Salonga's tweet). Charice sings Telephone (originally sung by Lady Gaga and Beyonce) together with Lea Michelle (Rachel Berry), and in her Audition piece for Glee Club is Listen from the movie Dream Girls (originally sung by Beyonce). These music are now available for downloads on iTunes.
I can't wait for the next episode! Glee will do Britney Spears songs!
